We can see that in the construction process not only do materials globalize, but also brands are part of that international world that has crossed borders. For example, in this case, McDonald’s is an American restaurant that has a presence in many departments of Guatemala. In addition to that, it is possible to identify that most of the materials used during the construction of the civil works are from Guatemala, however, the hydraulic, electrical, special, refrigeration, emergency and finished installations came from other countries of the world, such as the United States, Spain, Germany, Japan. Possibly because the corporate image requires product standards that are not yet found in Guatemala.
