Food is a constant flow in Quito, like in every other place. The interesting thing about food movement in Quito y the types of food offers available. There are farmers markets on Quito's surroundungs, which offer cheap essential food products, such as vegetables. These type of markets usually has as target people with low income and of low social class, because of the low prices. But, also the bigger super market company in Ecuador reaches to some of this farmers market and buys their products directly from the farms, and sell them later in a more presentable way to a high social class, where people have more money to buy more expensive products. The amount of density flow this offers is surprising. Other factors to be analized as "stock or flow" are gas, and electricity. Gas is the only fluid that allows cars to move in Ecuador due to the lack of electric cars, so gas station ussually are the node of transoprtation. Electricity on the other hand has a static behaviour, it travels from the power plant to homes, but it si constant, and ussually permamenet on almost every sector fo the city.
