The landscapes and water resources of the city of Tena (Stock) attract many people from different parts of the country and even from different countries, in addition to water resources being used as energy sources. This tourism (flow) is very important since it has managed to create new businesses increasing the economic activity of the place. Another important point is the businesses created by people who came from other places and decided to live here (Stock and flow). These people add a bit of their culture to the city creating a multicultural environment which in turn attracts family and friends who sit in the city for a while and then leave. It is very common to find relatives working in their businesses, either to gain experience or because they have been invited to spend time in the city. The difference with ordinary tourists is that these people are going to stay for several weeks or even months in the city.
