Uploaded on 2016-10-02 by Citlalli Calderón
This is a picture from Monterrey, México. It was taken in Fundidora, a park in the middle of the city. In here we can notice several levels of information. In the foreground, we can see some paths in wich people are walking surrounded by nature, all aparently in a quiet calm place. The background is the counterpart. On the left side there is a bridge that saves an inttermitent river and gives conectivity. Also there are some buildings rising up from an apparently flat city protected and contained by mountains. Two invisible information are: 1. How people travel to the park (mean of transportation). It is necessary to comprehend customs and habits of the people to offer diferent options to travel to the park in order to ensure that everyone has a possible and an easy way to get there. Also it is needed to understand how these habits affects the environmental quality (ex. air pollution and levels of noise). 2. The purpose of visiting the park. People may have different reasons to go there: to relax, excercise, have fun, spend some time with family or friends, etc. If we know the reasons why they need or like going there, we will be able to enhance services or improve existing.
