In picture we can see many stocks and flows that have existed since a long a time ago and have been necessary for develop of our own civilization. For example: Water: Since a long time ago water has decided the survival of many cities and its development, making it and essential element for life. Wood: Wood has been a stock and flow since ancient times, due to its used in construction and heating. River/fish: Having a river near by has benefited a lot of towns and cities, because it not only provides food (fish), but also could be used for creating energy or it could also help with the production of new resources. In the future these stocks and flows could radically change, making them more vital for type of living, creating a better ecosystem, new types of construction using local materials, and creating pure and clean energy for the city.
