1. The most important stocks and flows in my city are: food, people and density. 2. As the city continues to grow there is a small subsistence based farming model which could be counted as a stock. Quite often these farmers would sell their food at local farmer's markets (direct to cosnumer) thus creating a capital flow. Most food flows in from rural Australia or is then processed and packaged locally for distribution across the country. Quite often there are central warehouses accross the city that distributors and large shopping chains may use to stock the food. Residents are typically work in central CBD flowing in from outer suburbs. There are commerce centres also in the suburbs. As the population of the city increases so will density. This too will have an impact on the people flow. 3. The demographics of the city have changed - the increased multi-culturalism has seen ethnic groups settle in particular regions in the city, this would increase over time. The infrastructure required to support the increase in housing/building density and people flow will also shape and change the city.
