The three examples in the city of Changchun, Jilin, China are the temporary foreign counselors, materials and lands. Changchun is a famous industrialized city in northeast China. The major economic income comes from a car factory, which occupies an entire district of the city. This factory cooperates with foreign car companies such as Audi and Volkswagen to produce vehicles for Chinese market. This causes many flowing populations. For example, there is currently a large number of foreign experts and engineers, mostly from Germany, settle in Changchun. They monitors the production lines and offers suggestions while producing cars. Since the vehicles produced from this factory are supplying entire Chinese market, huge amount of raw materials for making vehicles are consistently demanded. These materials are the flows of the city. Lastly, land recourses are the unique stock in the city. The territory of northeast China is famous of its great agricultural land, since they have so-called "black soil". This type of soil is highly nutrient and it can produce high quality rice. Therefore, lands in Changchun are playing a role of producing people's daily food and gaining economic benefits from selling products to other regions.
