The importance of public space: because of the closed streets that allos the rise of pedestrians during the street market, many social activities and relationships are cultivated, from the comunication between vendors and buyers, to the comunication between neighbors to keep the areas safe. It is possible to analyze the quantity of links formed between neighbors where the market is installed, compared with another area where this activities don't take place, to determine which one has a better social life. 2B. The hinterland of Santa Cruz: the vendors installed in the street market came from different places: rural areas of Santa Cruz, and even other municipalities around it. Through data that allows to identify all this places, it will be possible to determine the hinterland of Santa Cruz, and the importance of the bussiness relationships as one of the main sources of income for the inhabitants. 3.
