I am currently living in California so: A- Provisioning service: Food: We have conditions for growing food and part of the production of fruits and vegetables comes from southern California but also near my area I find properties of small producers who sell food to the local community. One of the photos shows a property with orange production. b- Regulatory services: Local climate and air quality: We have many state parks. In addition, the neighborhoods are usually wooded with local plant species, which provides a pleasant climate most of the year. c-Habitat or support services: Habitats for species: We have several species of trees and vegetation that attract small animals such as squirrels and beavers, as well as birds such as herons, ducks, doves, among others. d-Cultural services: Recreation and physical and mental health and Spiritual experience and sense of place: In my neighborhood we have 3 parks with space to sit in the shade of the trees, an area for exercise and walking. At the beginning and end of the day, many families go for a walk and enjoy these areas, like me.
