This application would allow commuters to share their experiences conveniently. In Singapore, land scarcity is an important issue. Over-crowding is not only an issue that concerns the government, but the citizens as well. In order to prevent or reduce the possibility of overcrowding and its complications, it is necessary for Singapore to manage her infrastructure efficiently and effectively. However, real-time feedback and data have to be used to justify the providence and investments of certain infrastructure such as bridges, walkways, tunnels, public gathering areas and other circulation spaces. There has to be data to prove the need for certain roads or pavements to be wider, narrower or to be built in a particular location. Hence, this app will allow everyday commuters to share their perspectives on the public spaces they use to transit through or spend time daily in. Their location of input can be recorded and their keyed in data of crowd levels and comfort levels can be stored anonymously in a encrypted cloud system where the government can access to plan various urban development decisions effectively. This can greatly improve the flow of circulation within the city and improve citizen satisfaction, all while benefiting economically as well.
