This is a picture of the cafe and canteen area in a school here in Tripoli. Construction on this was recently completed. Most of the material used in construction were imported, largely from Egypt (wood), and Turkey (steel). This reflects the globalized economy, in that the material used for contraction has been sourced from far beyond the construction site
