The following picture is from a glass and aluminum division in a doctor center here in Esmeraldas. It is true that there is no factory or a mine o quarry(legally) in Ecuador to extract aluminum as a primal material. So we can know that those materials are not from here and the knowledge to work with it to make those divisions comes as a product of globalization and the spread of information and the flow of economy. Even the way people work with glass comes from somewhere else. Globalization has helped somehow countries in south-america to get some materials and tools to be up-to-date but that just happens cause of the economic changes in the world. Hope some how the bigger countries try to use the new tech to improve their cities, because that will mark the start for us to change too.
