In this image of the famous Times Square, it is possible to visualize the dependency of this area on electricity. All these panels, that make the region so widely known around the world, require lots of energy to be powered up. Furthermore, in this area of New York there is dependency on numerous other factors. For example, to get to Times Square people must use forms of transportation, and this depends on the flows of cars on the streets as well as public transportation, in forms of subways and buses. Also, it is possible to say that this area is widely dependent on information infrastructures, once the propaganda on the digital panels derive from and provide information. Considering that, Times Square is composed by lots of diverse elements, that converge to form an example of a little complex urban system.
