Examples of important stocks and flows in my city are tourism, people and food. In the image, it is possible to see Curitiba’s Botanical Garden, which is on of the city’s many touristic spots. In national holidays and in vacation times, the city attracts lots of people. Other flow that is present in Curitiba is daily migration between the city and its metropolitan area, that happens because lots of people live here and work in the surrounding cities and vice-versa. On the other hand, one of the city’s stocks is food. That happens because pinhão, one of the region’s traditional foods is seasonal, and the tree that provides it (the Araucária Tree) must be preserved for that reason, which makes the deforestation of this tree illegal. Considering that, these stocks and flows, I think that in the future, the stock of people can change considerably due to the pandemic and the tendency towards homeoffice and automation, which will reduce the migration between Curitiba and its vicinity. This could benefit the city in terms of reducing traffic and crowds in the public transportation. Furthermore, the stock of the pinhão is very important as it is source of income to some
