Valdeavilla 1 Provisioning Services: Most of the crops and produce comes from nearby municipalities, some rice farmers contribute to the local rice supply. Lucena City, being a coastal city, fishes are harvested every day from Tayabas Bay to be delivered to the city Market. 2 Regulating Services: The coastal line of Lucena City is being protected by mangrove forests which provide carbon sequestration and storage system and it prevents coastal erosion. Planting a tree is also mandatory for graduating students to maintain the air quality within the city. Burning of trash is also strictly prohibited to prevent pollution. 3 Habitat and Supporting Services: The local aviary provide habitat for birds, endemic and migratory. The mangrove forests also provide shelter for fishes and other marine biodiversity. The botanical garden provide habitat for various species of plants and animals. 4 Cultural Services: The Dalahican Beach, offers leisure activities including island hopping, boating, fishing and swimming. There are many resorts that cater to these activities. The city center provide entertainment and night life.
