Valdeavilla 1 Provisioning Services: Coastal and Fisheries Resources, Panukalan, Polillo Island, Quezon Province As a productive ecosystem, it sustains many biological communities including many coastal human communities by providing a range of services namely: fisheries catch, water, timber and fiber. 2 Regulating Services: Pagbilao Mangrove Forest It provides Regulating Eco Services as a carbon sequestration and storage system and it prevents coastal erosion. As a Habitat Eco Services provider it harbors juveniles and adult fish species. 3 Habitat and Supporting Services: Mt. Kanlaon National Park It has a rich biodiversity, many of which are classified as threatened, critical or endangered. The Ecosystem Services/ Functions provided by the watershed include optimal habitat for various species. 4 Cultural Services: Tubbataha Reefs National Marine Park The TRNMP provides Cultural Eco Services as an aesthetic seascape beauty and a prime diving destination. It also provides Habitat Eco Services as a Marine Biodiversity Sanctuary, the North Islet is a nesting site for birds and marine turtles.
