The distance between my home to my university here in Delhi, India is about 16.9 km. Here are the modes of transportation available in my area. Combination of Walk and Bus (1 hr 30 minutes): 5 minute walk from my home to the nearest bus stop. It will take me around 1hr and 10 minutes (40 stops) to the bus stop near my office. I usually experience traffic since my university is in the old Delhi locality. From the bus stop I’ll just need another 10 minute walk to reach the university. This is not my usual route since this is a very long route to take and time taking also. Combination of Walk and Metro (1 hr and 11 minutes): 15 minute walk from my home to the nearest Metro station. I hate walking so much. I know walking is good to your health, but sometimes Delhi’s climate is not forgiving. After this I take the metro for around 40 minutes (16 stops).
