Being in Ludhiana for 15 years, I was always fascinated by the city lights that lit streets to its beauty! LUDHIANA is a melting pot of lifestyle, people, education, entertainment, technology, infrastructure, planning etc. The picture of the JALANDHAR BYE PASS is the example here. The picture represents that electricity and lights are one of the many important infrastructures in this city. The illuminated and glowing lights is an identity of the city at the night; which shows optimum usage and dependency on electricity. The promenade has beautiful craved light poles adding to the elegance for the urban public space. Here, the wheel uses a lot of energy and electricity for the spectacular 360 deg views of the city. Also, the waters- The Sutlej River form an important part of the city and economy.In continuation, I would like to state here that Ludhiana has been working on the digital connectivity for better transit and public realm.
