as i belong to rural area iam unable to find very good example but after seeing flag waving on my house terrace one thought came in mind is that by this we are able to find direction of wind and after produce data of seasonal variation of wind direction which were helpful in designing of tall building to estimate intensity of wind load is higher on which phase ,
