Dubai has grown and developed in a rapid rate, from 2000 to 2015 the city has evolved and transformed in an almost vertical curve, a rate that other cities accomplished through generations. This has made the city go through lots of challenges, like sources consumption, transportation, energy…etc. one of these challenges is transportation. While the new skyscrapers, new communities, increased population and tourism are some of the new trends for the city, the small basic road systems are no longer enough to compete with the all these changes. the city started updating their roads networks in massive methods, building new network webs, metro stations, trams, and public transportation network, adding and increasing the road lanes and developing their intersections to overcome the bottle neck problems. As shown in this photo the metro network and stations were built in elevated bridges to gain more lanes for the main roads intersections beneath.
