1) The dominant fossil fuels used in my country India are: Coal & Gas. 2) In my country India, oil is used mainly for powering the transportation sector. Coal is majorly used to generate electricity for industries & other uses. 3) If I had the opportunity to frame a new policy to improve sustainability of the energy domain, I'd have done the following things: - Given a priority to renewable sources of energy like solar, wind, hydropower -Reduce the dependency on fossil fuels like coal, petroleum for power generation - Encouraged the use of power in electricity forma rather than heat as it is more efficient & causes less pollution - Levied pollution taxes on industries that do not adhere to the reasonable renewable energy use guidelines set out - Created good quality infrastructure for electric cars; high quality batteries, charging stations - Changed the flow of economy from a linera one to circular one,, thus ensuring the best use of resources.
