The central district of Canberra is shown in the picture. This is the road / walkway area between the shops on either side of the road. The zone doesn't clearly define road or walkways, as it is a shared area between vehicles and pedestrians. Over the roadway, the Council has painted and erected elements to direct vehicles and pedestrians for movement. Located to the right side of the road, is a 3 storey shopping complex, with a 3 storey carpark to the rear. Invisible wi-fi internet is available throughout this area. The tallest building in Canberra city, I believe it is a maximum of 10 storeys, in accordance with the Act protecting the original design of Canberra in 1913.
