I am from New Delhi, India. My neighbourhood is quite friendly and safe. The housing typology is group housing in my area. The five reasons I live here are: 1.Culture: my area is a culmination of all cultures of India – no discrimination on caste, religion or sex. The experience of different cultures in a neighbourhood teach you a lot about people and their beliefs.2.Safety: A wholesome of flats next to each other provides a safe environment.3.Climate: I feel New Delhi has its extreme in both Summers and Winters. So, due to building orientation, we feel climatically secured and pleasant at all times.4.Education: My neighbourhood has the most educated people because of the schools and essential colleges in around 2km radius.5.Social Environment – I feel everyone has an urge to keep yourself socially active to keep alive. I feel women need to have their kitty parties, children should play in the playground, girlfriends should have their boyfriends, family is family whether we have friends, enemies or acquittances. You need a partner be it a book, computer or an aloof spot. I feel this is one of the most important criteria for liveability.
