Provisioning services In the City where I live, nature offers several Ecosystem Services but the more important for the region is the water supply which is provided by Catolé complex, a preserved area intended to protect rivers and rivers springs. All water consumed in Maceió comes from there. b. Regulating services Maceió has what we call "grotas", wich are depressions formed by streams. Most of it of preserved vegetation in the city is over the "grotas" which help improve the temperature and protect water of city. c. Habitat or Supporting services d. Cultural services The items C and D I going to answer quoting just one place in my city. "Piscinas Naturais" in which literal traduction is Natural pools this is one of the tourist spots more visited, ITs a real attraction which generates income for several families. besides that, the Natural pools are formed for coral, which is complex ecosystems that shelter several species.
