Place- London, London eye and Big Ben Being in London for 3 years, I was always fascinated by the city lights that lit London to its beauty! This picture shows that electricity and lights are one of the many important infrastructure in this city. The illuminated London Eye, Big Ben and Westminster Abbey is an identity of the city at the night; which shows optimum usage and dependency on electricity. The promenade along the London eye has beautiful craved light poles adding to the elegance for the urban public space. Here, the wheel uses a lot of energy and electricity for the spectacular 360 deg views of the city. Also, the waters- The Thames River forms important part of the city, economy and tourism. Number of cruises are set throughout the day encircling the city for the panoramic views. In continuation, I would like to state here that London has been working on the digital connectivity for a better transit and public realm. The underground tube will be more digitalized and easily accessible through towers and power lines. This displays the city's actions towards the changing needs, demands of the urban population.
