This picture is taken from the town within the Mumbai Metropolitan Region,India. 90% of working class people living here travel to cities for their work by train and this picture shows the junction which leads to railway station and people interchange their mode of transport here.There is a main 4 lane road which divides into the flyover bridge and two 1 way road on either side side of it, of which 1 leads towards the station and other away form station. Visible information: 1. Sizes of roads on the junction and the flyover bridge that connects east-west region of town. 2. No traffic signal on the junction. 3. Maximum of 2-3 storey buildings across the main road and age of construction. Invisible information: 1. Scope of growth in residential and commercial areas. 2. Traffic congestion caused during the peak hours due to no specific division for type of vehicles. 3. Increase in need of public transport. Hence, as mentioned above Traffic circulation map can be derived. It will help in determining the roads that gather maximum no. of traffic and the requirement of size and development of roads accordingly. Buildings can also be developed vertically for future growth in population.
