Unfortunately there are not many data data and information for my place of residence about UHI effect of in Novi Sad. If I could take part in the decision-making process of an initiative related to the UHI effect, the measures I would propose in order to reduce it and provide a more livable environment to the citizens would be: 1- more green areas and more of planting trees within the city limits 2- reduction of car and bus traffic (especially that run on diesel and petrol fuel) 3- introduction of electric public transportation system To my knowledge, apart from the first two above measures, my community has no deeper policy on reducing the UHI effect.
