I'd loved to execute this exercise. Unfortunately, we have a lockdown due to Covid-19 and we are forced to stay at home. In general, temperature data should be obtained from different urban areas (e.g. the commercial business district) and compared with ‘rural’ reference data. The UHI gradually declines later at night and disappears after sunrise owing to the rapid warming of rural areas. UHI characteristics are best displayed during calm and clear weather conditions when the highest UHI magnitudes are measured. Sorry, only plain theory for the moment!
