My city has a lack of participation of its citizens. We have top-down governance, and citizens don't have a place in designing and planning their future and neighborhood. So by the rise of the technology-driven instrument and the growth of ICT, I decided to design an app for my master's thesis. In my thesis, the question was how to get the highest rate of citizens' participation in public space management? And I developed an online pilot app that everyone could download and participate in. I tried to use game and gamification methods to answer the main question above as a catalyst for engaging citizens in the process of shaping their neighborhoods. One of the ways was by focusing on community-centered urban management and the help of partnership criteria in place-keeping approach in the management of public spaces. Participants would answer some questions about their neighborhood about what they like about it and what they don't like, which public space is their favorite and which is not... . Results from the online platform show that building up new networks and relations between citizens and managers via a gaming tool, creates a better atmosphere for them to engage in the civil matters
