1. The dominant fossil fuels used in Romania are: oil and gas. 2. The dominant fossil fuels in Romania are mainly used for Industry, Transport and Others. 3. I would invest more in renewable energy because Romania has a lot of natural potential – invest in wind powered mills for electricity in parts of the country where wind is more predominant, solar cells in the south (where is more sun) etc. Also, I would prohibit diesel or gas based public transportation in major cities and switch them to electric, such as electric buses. Transportation is a major cause for air pollution in Bucharest and a policy regarding green alternative transportation (more bike lanes, etc) would be beneficial for its inhabitants.
