It has a great deal of building stock, in fact an oversupply of housing. Fortunately it’s come with infrastructure. The reason for the high building stock is that it is a capital city and the constructors kept building on the outskirts of the city while maintaining the town center. Ankara has its own dams, so it has its own supply of electricity and water. 3) However, there is a huge flow of people in the town. Many local and foreign tourists, people coming for business trips, new potential investors, etc. Students coming from all around the region for university study. This phenomenon keeps the density changing. Also, there is the internal flow in the town, i.e. citizens of the city keep moving from old neighborhoods to the newly built satellites of the city.
