This picture is taken in Ankara town center. 1) Visible information: - Two big hotels, a shopping mall and a convention center all located in the same neighborhood. - Building are not brand new. - Nice greening, well cared landscape - It is fancy downtown 2) Invisible information: - The buildings have been there for a long time, so the early investors of the city chose to invest not in the suburbs but in the town center some decades ago. Probably, availability of the infrastructure was the reason for such decision. - It is a significant accommodation center for the town. For sure, there must be other supporting enterprises in the vicinity, like cafés, restaurants, shops of every kind. - The area must be easily accessible, i.e. means of transportation must be satisfactory, at least in that part of the town. - Probably, the residents of that neighborhood are used to and good at dealing with multiculture. 3) Knowledge for planning Attention should be paid to keep the infrastructure up-to-date in that part of the town. It is old town center. Public utilities may need frequent checking and renewal.
