The city is not considered as a liveable city since it is one of the city having highest living cost. The public space per person is only 2 square metres. There are lots of skyscrapers, including residential and commercial buildings. The urban heat island effect leads to uncomfortable experience on streets. Greenery in urban area is not enough. However, there are something that make Hong Kong an attractive city to live in. The city has about 75% of its land as country park, which cannot be developed. People can easily access to the nature by taking a 30 minutes ride from the CBD. They can also easily walk from one district to another, since the developed areas are all concentrated along the harbour side.
