FC-01x Future Cities (Self-Paced) - Exercise 3: "Factors of Livability"

Here are the five cities based on my personally ranking: 1. Singapore, Singapore 2. Beijing, China 3. Quezon City, Philippines 4. Brussels, Belgium 5. Davao City, Philippines I based my ranking both on my personal experiences and based what I have read about them. However, in general, I think that these are the five characteristics that truly make a city livable: 1. Efficient Transportation Networks -- good roads and great mass transporation units 2. Ample Green Spaces - open spaces are not neglected despite the urbanity (this is what I like about my city (Quezon City) and some European cities (Brussels, Vienna, etc). 3. Great Activity Areas - mainly for socializing, this increases legibility and character of the neighborhood. 4. Security and Safety - this character is indespensable to any city. The primacy of life should be prioritized. 5. Good Governance - good governance is precedence to effective management and implementation of plans. My city, Quezon City, more or less fit these characteristics. However, some improvements (esp. in transporation) need to be done. A more comprehensive, direct, and robust plan/framework would definitely set its direction right. *photo is me dabbing in front of the Singapore Cityscape
