AIRPORTS. AIRPORTS. Airports and passenger terminals are indispensible pieces of infrastracture. They represent the movement of people, goods, and services on an entire city, a region, or even a country. This is a photo of the Ninoy Aquino Internation Airport in Manila as seen from one of the passenger terminals. It a complex airport that serves 1500-2000 international flights, and 2900-3100 domestic flights a month. It caters to a foot traffic of more or less 1,000,000 people a month. Within the complex is also the cargo terminals which delivers goods to several parts of the country and of the world. Aside from this, the airport also serves a beacon for a glaringly amount of information and data: transactions which describes relationships between cities, activities which connect the complex to the entire city, and stories which represent the fabric of Filipino families and overseas workers. This infrastracture will always be a huge part of nation-building.
