FC-01x Future Cities (Self-Paced) - Exercise 1 : "Making the Invisible - Visible"
Uploaded on 2020-04-15 by Tomer Gabriel
The visible information is the building style, horizontal building tells us this is either a rich area or not an area of interest, the parked cars in front of each house support that idea, the streets are empty showing that there isnt much to do in the area and most of the traffic here is personal cars with the exception of a single bus bringing people in and out of the village. The invisible information of traffic in different times shows us that in the morning many people drive to work in the city and many students go to the city to study, and in the afternoon when they all come back there is a very long traffic jam leading up to the village, from this information we can adjust the bus times for city workers and students, as well as learn where the traffic jam originates and solve the cause. Another invisible information is the usage of electricity in different times, when most of the workers and students are out the village needs much less electricity but during holidays and weekends when most students are home and especially during the hot summer days electricity is in high demand.
