This aerial photo (taken from google maps) is from my neighborhood, Martinez. In it, I pointed out an electrical substation, located in the middle of a residential area. This presents numerous drawbacks, affecting the overall image of the street, as well as the noise contamination and the large space it occupies. The level of dependency on the electricity is so evident, that despite all the claims from neighbors demanding to move the substation away from the residential area, municipal authorities haven´t done a single thing to change this scenario. The interests among the use of electricity are above all other interests, including the well-being of the neighbors.
