In my view, the green areas represented by parks, boulevards, the mountains, grass surface, etc., are one of the main stocks that the city has. However, these areas are decreasing because the trees falling, the people cover the grass with concrete to avoid the maintenance and for political reasons, when a major decide to replace the natural grass of the parks with syntetic grass, or replace the parks with squares with hard surfaces. The trees give us oxygen, gives us shadow when the temperatures are high, give us protection from the water when it rains and help to absorb water avoiding floods and guarantee the continuity of the water cycle. Another important stock is the cooked clay that is use traditionally in bricks and tiles for walls, floors or roofs in houses and public spaces in Bogotá. Though its use it has been reduce as a consequence of the incorporation of "globalised" materials in the building like concrete, plasterboards, etc. Other stocks are the cycle lanes, with almost 500 km lineals produce a flow of people in bike that use this infrastructure as an ecological option for his mobility inside the city.
