Comments about the photo This photo was shot in Ricardo J. Alfaro avenue, Panama City, for the study: Urban Diagnosis for Line 3 of Metro de Panama. A study in progress by our firm, City Plan Consult, S.A. The main objective of the study is to understand the actual situation of urban components in Metro´s Line 3 surrounding area, to identify opportunities for urban rehabilitation and Transport Oriented Development. An objective of the study is to analyze walkability near future stations. We did a survey with pedestrians to know their opinion about infrastructure, amenities, security and their daily walks. This photo is a specific place where the future Condado del Rey station will be. There are bus stops on both sides of the 4 lanes way, that have big demands, and lots of pedestrians who use the public transportation. The sidewalk is too small to manage all the movements, that is why it is very important to know where they come from, to plan sidewalks rehabilitation programs.
