2. Which are the main UHI effects that you can identify in your area? I live in a suburban area yet not much thick, not much vertical. My area's very green but the asphalt and densification noticeably raise the temperature. The first picture to demonstrate the urban area in which I live and the second picture demonstrates the rural area. the rural area in my city yet preserves native forest, which helps to down temperature although the area where I live don't to be very warm as the downtown and still preserve a lot gree. 3. Which are the measures you would propose? In the first place, I would improve the legislation in my city tinking in the next twenty years, improve the land occupation, to avoid densification, and predicting more green areas like parks and conservations units. 4. Is UHI effect concerning policy making in your area? unfortunately, my city doesn't have legislation about UHI and areas already occupied by skyscrapers demonstrate themselves very thick and warm.
