The outflow tray of a rainwater sewer system, made out of concrete and stainless steel (the grate) The concrete originates from a factory in Oosterhout, which imports its sand from the Netherlands itself. Part of the granulates come from recycled concrete, but the biggest percentage of the used granulates come from mines in countries like Hungary, America and Gemany. For the stainless steel it is not produced in the Netherlands, but imported and then made into a grate. The raw materials for stainless steel come from all over the world. The nickel is mined in America and Africa. Most iron comes from countries as Austalia, China, Brazil and India. The Molybdenum is mined in parts of Scandinavia, North-America, China and Australia. For the Chromium there are mines in Scandinavia, Brazil and Russia. The list goes on and on.
