2. Which are the main UHI effects that you can identify in your area? 2. This picture is a picture for rural areas surrounding the city and in the same time is my place where I live. As I have mentioned for cities also the rural areas do not have tropical weather but face high temperatures during summers. The differences from city, the rural areas there is less density, less infrastructure, less pavement and air pollution. All of these indicate the temperature in rural areas to be lower than in urban areas. 3. Which are the measures you would propose? 3.As cities continue to grow, it is clear that they need to incorporate climatological concerns into their design to mitigate temperature. The first measure should be the trees, city centre need more trees, streets need more trees and city areas need to be greener in order to be a more livable environment to the citizens. 4. Is UHI effect concerning policy making in your area? 4. No there is not any UHI effect concerning policy for my place where I live or in my city or in my country in Kosovo. Because the planning process is ongoing.
