Since my experience is limited regarding tours and visits in different cities around the world, I better discuss my home city against the attributes of Livable Cities. Addis Ababa could be the opposite of livable cities. from the very nature of the structural plan: - Different places are located for different uses. (zoning, like that of the Industrial cities - Building uses for a single function such as Residential, Commercial, ... - Streets are not clearly delinted for vehicular and pedestrian use; - No parks, Social and Community Spaces which are dedicated for Civic Societies; - Vehicular traffic congestion throughout the day, No alternative public and mass transport options and infrastructure;
