Construction is globalized because the materials that we use even in developing cities are made in other countries and imported to these for the construction of its buildings. It can be windows, cables, wood, finishers that are all brought from the global market. However these materials contribute for the carbon footprint because the contamination of the transportation is very big for bringing these materials so far from its original place where it was made.
