This is a street view that I took during my last vacation in Cartagena, Colombia, the beautiful historical city in which I grew-up. More than two decades ago, the public electricity of the historical downtown went underground, just for aesthetic reasons. That was a very good decision that decreased the human risk due to the balconies previously very close to the electrical wires, and because of the enhancement of the architectural beauty of this city. An UNESCO heritage city, helped by underground infrastructure!
