People, food and land are three examples of stocks and flows in Buenos Aires. People: In my city, there are nearly 3 million people living in it (that's the stock) and about the same number arrives everyday, from the surroundig areas to work or as tourist. Food: Despite having your own organic orchard in the bolcony or garden is kind of trendy, every day a lot of food is trasported from the suburban areas to the city. Land: It may not be the best example because it's to rare to change, normally land is a stock, but last year there was a change in the laws and normatives of the city wich allow to build more floors in a building. The construvtive capacity of the land changed, so I think is a good example of stocks and flows.
