It is very common activity in the peripheral neighbourhoods of Mexico city to adapt and appropriate the residual urban spaces such as those who hold high-voltage electricity infrastructure, as a response for the lack of suitable parks and public spaces for local neighbours to develop their recreational activities. In these spaces people do their jogging, their outside exercise, walking their pets, implement playgrounds for children and have different recreational activities. It is "permitted" as there are no other alternatives, there are no land available for suitable parks in these regions.
