When you walk around the foyer of the auditorium of the Nueva Sede de Gobierno de la Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires, this is what you see. This building was design by Foster + Partners. That's the first symptom of globalized economy: an international architectural office. Then, the materials: wood, steel, reinforced concrete, glass, aluminium. Although every material can be found in our country, they are all materials that can be found in -almost- every building in the city, and of expanded use worldwide.
