In the city of Paris, the most important flows are: - Workers who go to offices every day - The food which comes from all over the world, notably via the Rungis market (in the suburbs of Paris) We therefore see that many flows return to Paris, in particular because a large capital stock is present there. There is therefore an impact on the structure of the city which is seen by: - The size of the office space depends on the accommodation - A structural lack of housing To remedy this, we would need an urban policy promoting reconstruction on the existing and the end of the height limit of buildings. For a more uniform development of offices, a decentralized public transport network is necessary.
