1. 5 criteria in descending order: Climate, Environment, International Connectivity, Infrastructure, Safety 2. I live in Chiang Mai, Thailand. As a location-independent worker, I chose this place based on: - climate - cost of living (including affordable and easy to find housing) - infrastructure (predominantly social infrastructure such as cafes, co-working areas, restaurants, and IT infrastructure) - environment (despite bouts of toxic air pollution) - international connectivity 3. Personal score: 80/100. The general score: 50/100, due to low wages, poor labour market, relatively high living costs, and poor transportation 4. As the mayor of Chiang Mai, I would immediately start with heavy investment in green mobility: electric buses, city bike-sharing, possibly trams/light rail to reduce traffic and facilitate commutes for less well-off people. 5. Copenhagen: perfect health system, good job opportunities and high salaries, green mobility and easy international connectivity, developed culture, entertainment, gastronomy options, stable and friendly policies. - Melbourne: climate, good job opportunities, environment and nature, social culture, safety. - Zurich: good public infrastructure, local culture, environment, stability and safety, good job opportunities.
